Additional IG suspends sub-inspector for misconduct

LAHORE: Additional IG Malik Muhammad Iqbal suspended sub-inspector Muhammad Arshad of the Investigation Wing of Mozang police station on Wednesday. Departmental action had also been directed against in charge of Investigation inspector Ali Abbas of the same police station on the charges of misconduct and inadequate investigation of a case. Malik acted on an allegation made by a Model Town Q-Block resident Aneel Akhtar and when Malik ordered SSP Discipline and Inspection Ghulam Mehmood Dogar to investigate the matter, it proved to be true. staff report
